For God So Loved the World

When I hear that 30 civilians in Palestine have been killed today, it seems like a normal day to me, but when something tragically happens in the U.S., it really affects me. Why is that? God, please give me Your heart for this world.
It is sad that we are more comfortable with innocent deaths in other countries. And the whole Gaza thing is just sad – I never feel like I know who is in the wrong, but seeing pictures of dead and/or blood children is so sickening.
